Christian County Optimist Club Coats for Kids

This year’s collection sites include all Nixa Schools, Ozark Elementary Schools, Clever Elementary, Central Bank of the Ozarks (Hwy 160 & Hwy 14), Aldersgate United Methodist Church, the Nixa Senior Center, and RE/MAX House of Brokers

The Christian County Optimist Club (an organization devoted to bringing the best out in kids) has teamed up with Least Of These.  Christian County Optimist Club will facilitate the collection of your tenderly used coats, scarves, gloves & hats with 20 community collection sites.  They will be cleaned and Least Of These will distribute them to those who could use a hand with new outerwear this year.

This will be the 15th year for the Coats for Kids drive in Christian County. Last year 388 coats were collected. Past years have seen as many as 660 coats collected. In addition to coats collection sites also accept hats, scarves, mittens and gloves. Coats are accept in all sizes, not just children’s, allowing the program to help the entire community.

This year’s collection sites include all Nixa Schools, Ozark Elementary Schools, RE/MAX House of Brokers, Bear State Bank - Nixa, Clever Elementary, Central Bank at Hwy 160 & CC and Hwy 14, both Ozark Comet Cleaners locations, Aldersgate United Methodist Church and the Nixa Senior Center.
